Rome — Vitrociset has signed a strategic agreement with Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim) for the development of business and sales in Italy. Vitrociset's leadership in the training world with its proposal of advanced training solutions will be further enriched thanks to the use of Bohemia Interactive Simulations’ software platform VBS3, from which it obtains the commercial exclusivity for the resale of VBS3 licenses in Italy.
In the training world, Vitrociset boasts an important know-how and experience gained in the realization and execution of the SIAT Army Program, the FFAS System of the Carabinieri Forestale and Air Traffic Control Simulator in Qatar.
Vitrociset and BISim will set up a permanent Demo Room at the Vitrociset office in Rome, where it will be possible to conduct live demonstrations of Vitrociset's skills in the Training and Simulation field using BISim's VBS3, the comprehensive training application that provides a high-fidelity 3D virtual environment for land, air, and sea collective training and mission rehearsal. In this Demo Room, clients can have a direct demonstration of how the Vitrociset Home Station Training solution (HST) helps users to plan, prepare, execute and evaluate a mission according to the concept of operational training cycle, which allows users to exploit simulation through all the operational phases. Vitrociset HST allows militaries to train troops on real vehicles, helicopters, airplanes and systems. Soldiers are in fact introduced into the virtual environment using immersive headsets and full body motion capture technologies; interactions with real weapons and platforms are detected with dedicated sensors.
