The Australian Army is now offering reservists in New South Wales access to its portable VBS2 Virtual Immersive Combat Environment. Project coordinator Lt. Col. Mark Gibson explained in an article in Army: The Soldier’s Newspaper that VBS2 allows soldiers and officers to “conduct training in simulation, fixing any shortcomings, and then do live training more effectively.”
